The Ecology Action Centre’s food team is seeking a full time Research and Evaluation Coordinator for the Our Food: Reconnecting Food and Community Project. The position is based in the Halifax office and is a one year maternity leave replacement.
The position is for an internal program evaluator as part of a food systems project with a highly collaborative 8 person team. The job requires someone who has extensive research and analysis skills, as well as knowledge of a variety of evaluation theories and tools including developmental evaluation. The successful candidate will be a skilled facilitator with experience training adult learners and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will also have strong skills with excel and report writing, as well as creative problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
