This webinar will support the following Core Competencies for evaluation practice:

  • Reflective Practice 1.7: Uses self-awareness and reflective thinking to continually improve practice.
  • Situational Practice 3.2: Identifies stakeholders’ needs and their capacity to participate, while recognizing, respecting, and responding to aspects of diversity.

Guest bio: Yasser is a Credentialed Evaluator (C.E.) living and working in Toronto. In addition to having a full-time evaluation practice within healthcare, Yasser is currently undertaking professional doctoral studies with a focus on organizational development and leadership. Yasser is especially interested in supporting organizations to build capacity for evidence-informed learning, using valuation as a tool to critically inquire about systems and organizational narratives underlying program strategies. Yasser is particularly interested in disrupting the subtle and explicit ways privilege, silence, fear and shame manifest within healthcare provision at all levels and wreak havoc on the health and well-being of individuals. At this Wednesday Webinar, Yasser hopes to use vignettes from his practice to empower critical self-reflection for participants.
