Our final episode of #EvalAFF responds to general interest in how to integrate sustainability into evaluative thinking and design. The three-part answer distinguishes

  1. sustainability of inputs, implementation activities, and results;
  2. instrumental versus intrinsic valuing of environmental sustainability; and
  3. the application of both equity and sustainability considerations to both human and nonhuman beings.

Rather than attempting to curate supporting literature as part of this blog post, Andrealisa invites discussion about which aspects of the three-part answer would be most important to elaborate on in a workshop that could explore key terms and sources of expertise from within the evaluation field and beyond.
