Due April 20 – Nominations for CES Conference Registration Fee Awards

We are now less than a week away from the deadline for nominations! This is a great opportunity for Nova Scotian residents in need of financial support to attend the CES Conference in Winnipeg.

The Nova Scotia Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES-NS) is seeking nominations for an award to support attendance at the CES 2022 national conference, taking place from June 13 to 15, 2022 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. More information is available at https://c2022.evaluationcanada.ca/. Conference registration, travel, and accommodation support is available in a limited amount for members, and one conference registration is available for a non-member.

We welcome nominations of any current resident of Nova Scotia who has made or has the potential to make an important contribution to the evaluation community in our province. Individuals can be emerging practitioners or those more experienced with evaluation. We are particularly interested in nominations of individuals who contribute to the vision of CES-NS, including engagement for social equity and environmental sustainability, strengthened professionalization of evaluation, and mutually reinforcing partnerships and collaboration.

With this award, we would like to support those who could make a valuable contribution to the conference as a participant, benefit from attending the conference, and who might not otherwise attend. We encourage individuals from equity seeking groups to submit a nomination.

If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please access the nomination form here.

The deadline is 4 pm Atlantic on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 and award recipients will be notified by April 27, 2022.
