Our last Journal Club before the summer break is moving from June to July, and will be held on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 from 12:05-1:05 pm AST.

Session Description: Jan-Eric Furubo’s very timely article Democracy, Accountability, and Evaluation looks at how evaluations can help keep governments accountable in a democracy. The author notes the importance of inclusive evaluation practices that engage various stakeholders, ensuring that evaluations reflect diverse perspectives and contribute to informed decision-making. Through this lens, Furubo advocates for evaluations that not only assess outcomes but also foster democratic dialogue and accountability in governance.
