    The 2019 Conference Planning Committee is pleased to invite you to submit proposals for presentations and workshops that will contribute to our conference theme. The conference will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia from Monday, May 27th – Wednesday, May 29th, 2019 at the Westin Nova Scotian, with pre-conference workshops taking place on Sunday, May 26, 2019.     Janet Ivory, Past President of CES-NS and current CES-NS Liaison, has put her name forward for Vice President of CES National. This is a one year term beginning June 2014. A second candidate from BC has also put her name forward, which means members will have an opportunity to vote. Members will be notified when voting begins.     CES launches National Web Based Mentoring Matching Program

    The CES’s Evaluation Mentoring Canada (EMC) working group has launched a web based national mentoring matching software program, which matches potential mentors and mentees based on the Canadian Evaluation Society’s professional competencies. EMC working group is inviting you to visit http://evaluationmentoringcanada.ca to view the website, read through supporting resources and to create an online profile to register as a mentor and/or a mentee. All levels of expertise are welcome, and there is no charge for this service!
