    CESEF Board is seeking new members

    CESEF is a not-for-profit organization with the mandate to improve national capacity for evaluation through educational activities. It provides scholarships, awards, and educational opportunities related to the field of program evaluation.  It also hosts the welcome and silent auction at the CES annual conferences CESEF is seeking people to join the board to fill 3 vacancies:  vice-chair, membership and member at large. If you are aware of an evaluation professional who may be interested, please contact Colleen Goggin at [email protected]

    Call for Volunteers for CES-NS Board

    The Nova Scotia Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society is seeking nominations for Treasurer, Membership Chair and IT Chair to hold office for the period of May 2014 to May 2016. Please see the position descriptions here. The volunteer Board meets once a month and is made up of dedicated members from NGO’s, government and private sectors; some members are experienced evaluators and others are new to the field.     Janet Ivory presents her nomination for Vice President of the CES National

    Janet Ivory, Past President of CES-NS and current CES-NS Liaison, has put her name forward for Vice President of CES National. This is a one year term beginning June 2014. A second candidate from BC has also put her name forward, which means members will have an opportunity to vote. Members will be notified when voting begins.     Announcing an International Call for Evaluation Stories

    Deadline: April 15, 2014 Evaluations that Make a Difference: Stories from around the world is a recipient of an EvalPartners Innovation Challenge Award. The project’s purpose is to demonstrate to evaluation users (e.g. governments and international organizations, NGOs and advocates) how evaluation can truly be a force for positive change.
