    Study/Discussion Group: Foundations for Creating Cultures of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Evaluation

    CES-NS is pleased to offer a study/discussion group in 2023-24 to provide Atlantic Canadian evaluators with supported learning to understand and use evaluation as a tool for decolonization, equity, and sustainability.  Who: CES members from Atlantic Canada. When: 2:30-4:00 pm Atlantic, third Thursday of every month, October 2023 to June 2024 (first session is Thursday, October 19). Where: Zoom (you will receive a meeting invite after you register). What: Each meeting will cover one of the modules from the CES self-study course Foundations for Creating Cultures of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Evaluation.     Professional Development Opportunity: Understanding and using contribution analysis workshop – May 12th, 2015

    The Nova Scotia Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society invites you to join us for the half-day workshop: Understanding and using contribution analysis, presented by Dr. Kaireen Chaytor of Chaytor Consulting. Contribution analysis is an approach to evaluation, built on theory of change, which demonstrates the desired impact of an intervention. Contribution analysis is especially relevant in settings where there are multiple interventions contributing to a social problem. The workshop will discuss the theory of contribution analysis and briefly review the literature.
