The Nova Scotia Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES-NS) is seeking nominations to support in-person and virtual attendance at the 2024 CES Conference in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
- $1000 reimbursement to support in-person conference attendance for registration fees, travel, hotel, and meals. Must be a current CES NS Member to be eligible, one award available.
- Free virtual conference registration. Both CES NS members and non-members eligible, two registrations available.
We welcome nominations of those who have made or have the potential to make an important contribution to the evaluation community in our province. Individuals can be emerging practitioners or those more experienced with evaluation. We are particularly interested in nominations of individuals who contribute to the vision of CES-NS, including engagement for social equity and environmental sustainability, strengthened professionalization of evaluation, and mutually reinforcing partnerships and collaboration.
With this award, we would like to support those who could make a valuable contribution to the conference as a participant, benefit from attending the conference, and who might not otherwise attend. We encourage individuals from equity deserving groups to submit a nomination.
The deadline is 4 pm Atlantic on Tuesday, April 2nd. Award recipients will be notified Wednesday April 3rd, 2024. Please note, the early bird conference registration deadline is Friday April 5th.
The award recipients will be expected to participate in a future online discussion about learnings and/or experiences from the conference.
