    CES-NS Annual General Meeting & Resource Swap

    The Canadian Evaluation Society Nova Scotia Chapter’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 16th from 12:00–1:30 pm (ADT) through Zoom. The meeting will include a report on Chapter activities over the past year, financial report, and election of new board members. Following the AGM will be a resource swap! This will be a group chat for everyone to share resources that they’ve found helpful – books, websites, videos, events, or anything really that has been a go-to for them.     Last Call for Joining the CES-NS Board!

    As we near our Annual General Meeting (which will be on June 16 @ noon ADT by the way; more info coming very soon), we’d like to put out a final call for Board members. We’re still looking to fill the role of Professional Development Chair. This past year, we had two co-chairs share the role, which is certainly an option going forward as well! The PD Chair(s) will help to identify and plan professional development activities offered by CES-NS throughout the year (e.g., invited speakers, webinars, networking, or journal club).     The CES-CESEF Student Case Competition Final Round takes place on May 11!

    The final round of the CES-CESEF Student Case Competition will be held on Tuesday, May 11 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm EDT (4:30 to 6:30 ADT) via Zoom! The finalists this year involve two teams from Simon Fraser University and a team from the University of Montreal. There is no cost to attend.
