Accepting Applications for Conference Expense Assistance

This year, CES National is providing a complimentary registration to each of the chapters for one person to attend the 2017 CES National Conference (for more information, visit:

CES Nova Scotia also recognizes the significant expenses associated with travelling from coast to coast, and has committed to contributing up to $2000 to cover travel and accommodations to supplement the complimentary registration to support one local CES-NS member to attend the conference. The recipient will be reimbursed following the conference providing the submission of receipts for eligible expenses (e.g. hotel and travel). Please note, the successful applicant will be responsible for covering any related costs above and beyond $2000, as CES-NS will not reimburse these.

 Selection Process

A nominating committee of three CES NS Board Members will review all de-identified applications, and provide a recommendation to the CES NS Executive who will vote on the recommendation. The successful applicant will be notified of the decision no later than March 31, 2017.

The successful applicant will be a CES member who can demonstrate the relevance of this conference to their professional work, as well as the importance of receiving this support in order for them to attend the conference.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
