June 28: CESNS Annual General Meeting, featuring a presentation from CES President, Andrealisa Belzer

Please join us on June 28, 2023 for CESNS Annual General Meeting (AGM), featuring a session led by CES President, Andrealisa Belzer, about CES Chapters as volunteer networks that are rewarding, impactful, inclusive, and sustainable. The schedule is as follows:

  • 11:30 am-12:00 pm (AST) – Andrealiza Belzer will present on the following: The Canadian Evaluation Society is first and foremost a network to advance excellence in evaluation in Canada and internationally. By definition, we do this through relationships among members and partner organizations. How are we leveraging information technology to facilitate relationships, in a way that is also grounded in local context, personal connection, and embodied experience? In this 30-minute sharing session, CESNS past-president Andrealisa Belzer will reflect and invite discussion about how her first year as National President has changed her understanding of opportunities and challenges for local Chapters as volunteer networks that are rewarding, impactful, inclusive, and sustainable.
  • 12:00-1:00 pm (AST)CESNS Annual General Meeting: During the meeting, we’ll review the Chapter’s past year and vote on the open board positions.

Please note that the call for volunteers closes tomorrow (June 8). The following positions are open with the board:

  • Treasurer 
  • IT Chair
  • Student Rep

All CES members are eligible for a board position. Joining the board is a great way to meet others working in evaluation, develop your skills, and help shape the field of evaluation in Nova Scotia!
