The Nova Scotia Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES-NS) is seeking nominations for an award to support attendance at the CES 2023 national conference taking place from June 19 to 21, 2023 in Quebec City, QC. More information on the conference is available at https://c2023en.evaluationcanada.ca/. Conference registration, travel and accommodations support is available in a limited amount to support up to two CES members who reside in Nova Scotia.
We welcome nominations of any current resident of Nova Scotia who has made or has the potential to make an important contribution to the evaluation community in our province. Individuals can be emerging practitioners or those more experienced with evaluation. We are particularly interested in nominations of individuals who contribute to the vision of CES-NS, including engagement for social equity and environmental sustainability, strengthened professionalization of evaluation, and mutually reinforcing partnerships and collaboration.
With this award, we would like to support those who could make a valuable contribution to the conference as a participant, benefit from attending the conference, and who might not otherwise attend. We encourage individuals from equity groups to submit a nomination.
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please access the nomination form here.
The deadline is 4 pm Atlantic on Monday, April 10, 2023, and award recipients will be notified by April 17, 2023.
The award recipients will be expected to participate in a future online discussion about learnings and/or experiences from the conference.
